Songwriting has always been like therapy for me. Through music, I'm able to communicate what I'm feeling in a way that can resonate with others and yet not give too much of my experience away. This song, Gardens of Grey, is about being stuck somewhere that once was good for you, but now you've outgrown. Sometimes, we have to step outside of where we feel safe to be truly content.
