While making this piece my main goal was to make something different than anything I have made before. Inspired by a clawfoot bathtub and the practice of giving inanimate objects human features, I decided to experiment with adding human features to my pots. This pot was inspired by my own hand and glazed in simple white so as not to distract from the form.

To me creativity is the ability to turn an idea into reality. To bring something from your imagination into the real world, you must make many quick decisions and adapt. Creativity is, in many ways, a process of problem solving.
