• Artist Statement

  I love the song Scootaloo (by Jobii) for its jazz piano, especially the piano solo. I challenged myself to learn the solo note for note -- which took some time but was super worth it. It is now my favorite song to play.

  The piano sound comes from a Nord digital piano. The bass sound came from Operator, a plugin in Ableton. The drum loop came from the Arturia drum machine and Noiiz, another plugin in Ableton.

  I have been composing songs in Garageband using loops and MIDI for a several years. You can hear them on my YouTube channel (called Beat Scythe). Please subscribe! ;)

• Creative Statement

  My parents are both musicians, so I am inspired by things I hear and see around me. I personally love chill electronic music, and I study jazz piano, so combining these two things creatively leads to a natural expression of my art.
