  I chose to perform Take Five by Paul Desmond. I love the way this tune lets you play with whatever you want to convey. The piece can evolve into whatever the performer chooses to convey in their take on it. To me, that’s the beauty of jazz and improvisation.

  Creativity is the tie from our minds to the real world. It’s choosing to look at your situation or surroundings from a different point of view, instead of confining oneself to the box of indifference and acceptance.
