• Artist Statement

  One of my favorite things about this photo is that you can see the individual bits of asphalt, but as you look out, the rest of the image is out of focus. When I took this photo we had to let my dog out on the side of the road, and I started to take photos of the road, when I thought a photo from the ground might look nice.

• Creative Statement

  Creativity means to be original, and to have your own thoughts. It's how you choose to express yourself. even if it's different from everyone else.
