Turning to art, I placed all of my emotions on the paper to create what I hope shows how I feel as a teenager in 2021. The amalgamation of doodles and color used show the chaos that is present in growing up today, speaking to the constant movement of today’s world.

A skull with a crystal embedded in it's forehead rests entangled in a mess of branches, waiting silently in a forest.

The result is an abstract painting with a realistic element: the simple, recognizable shape of a pear.

My project is a personal exploration of comfort and familiarity. Modeled after a small suburban house, the ceramic box summarizes one of the most recognizable and comforting parts of my life: a home.

For this piece, I was going for realistic and as detailed as possible. I also tried some new techniques.

The hold that wealth has on our capitalistic society is what influenced this piece. I wanted to capture how brainwashed we are by materialistic things, we are robots with one goal: never-ending wealth.

This artwork represents a person being in the middle of tearing apart the façade that she puts up every day, revealing a blank canvas that awaits her next face painting the very next day.

Under a dark sky there is a pink light.

All of the heads come from different, real animal farm covers from the books.

There is never one side to a story, this piece represents the constrictions I've felt and feel now.

This artwork is two middle aged friends (the purple and orange ninja) that are fighting a god (the white one).

My artwork is a representation of the suddenness of life, the heart is beating and thriving but only inches further it's stopped no longer beating and living.

My artwork was based upon my love of nature. I fused repeating patterns in the drawing to reflect the order found in nature.
