These submitted works of creative writing are under the section of poetry, where I have selected three pieces that show my variety in perspective and ability to capture contrasting genres. Each poem was created during the year 2022, where I explored my voice through the written word, as opposed to practicing self-expression through visual arts like I usually do. This attempt of opening myself up allowed vulnerability to carry out into my writing.

In my home city of San Francisco, I have been involved in activities ranging from museum volunteering to being featured in exhibitions to founding an art club at Mission High School for my peers to feel a sense of community.
