This is my recording of Blue Monk, by Thelonious Monk. It is a jazz standard over a 12-bar blues chord progression. There are many different versions of this tune, but the original by Thelonious Monk is the most famous. I decided to submit this song because with such a limited amount of time to show my creativity, I felt the best way to do so was over a blues progression.
