This song, "city lights" is a song representing youth and the notion of love. It expresses the contrast between the youth who haven't had any sort of emotional attachment or relationship, and the youth who have been effected by the breaking of first love, which impacts what they do and how they perceive life. This song is not particularly written about a personal experience but more so it is a creation of a scenario of somebody who is constantly reminded of their first love when surrounded by city lights or party nights because those were experiences that defined their relationship. This was a song I had written a while ago, but never knew how or when to utilize it, so after hours of editing and producing, I finally made it into a piece I am very proud of.
