I chose these poems for submission because they are close to my heart. They represent me, as a person greatly in touch with nature and my inner self. I feel that we are all, in some way, forces of nature. Every single person is different, and we all possess the power to take control of our lives, and we should. Life is too short to just sit back and let it happen to us.

To me, my creativity is a channel for all of my life experiences, whether they are positive or negative. After a long day, I can sit down and just write all my stress and worries. It doesn't matter to me whether what comes out is good or bad. It's the process of understanding that helps me cope.
