My piece is about my issues of dealing with failure. Whenever I lost or was never praised for my efforts, I felt like whatever I did was horrible and that nothing I do will ever be good enough. That's what gave me the idea for this piece. To me, winning is like gold, so I made my piece about gold. Today, I’m still trying to overcome my fear of failure and not receiving praise, and I think writing this has been a step forward toward that goal.

Creativity to me is a process that lets me show others who I am. I'm free to let my imagination run wild and express myself through different genres and styles of writing. It also allows me to be vulnerable and express the emotions I am feeling.
