This is an original dance to showcase my passion for the art form. I enjoy the style of musical theater dancing because it combines elements of ballet technique, jazz dance, and acting. It was particularly challenging because I had to physicalize the expression of my emotions without being able to use facial expressions because of the mask. To make up for this limitation, I tried to exaggerate my movements and focus on musicality.

Dance has been a part of my life since I was young and has always been an outlet for me to express my emotions through movement. I value communities like the one I have though dance because they encourage me to be the best version of myself while connecting me with people from different backgrounds.
