• Artist Statement

  “Odysseus and the Mysterious Stone of the North '' is a short film script about an egocentric pirate who searches for his “stolen” treasure with the help of his… interesting crew. We chose to write this script because in a lot of queer media nowadays, the main focus of the media is the queer characters, or a queer plotline. In a way, it feels like these things are trying to gain popularity by pushing the LGBTQIA+ community in the viewer’s face, and claiming to be “different” or “new”. We thought it possible to write a script with queer characters without making that the main focus of the media, which is why we wrote Odysseus.

• Creative Statement

  Expressing myself helps me feel more free. I tend to express myself in terms of fashion as well as writing, so dressing the way I want to boots my self-confidence.
