This is a recorded video of "Red Bird" choreographed by Mariia Sotnikova to the music "The Leftovers" by Max Richter. It is the story of a red bird that is just like the mythological creature: The Phoenix. The bird is born into the world at the beginning of the piece, but as I am dancing and gaining energy, I am drawn to the bright red ball of fire. My desire takes over and I am soon burnt back into ashes.

Creativity and expression to me can look like a piece of visual art or a performance. My definition of art is something that makes someone feel something. That is also how I define artistic perfection. Art for me is used as an extension of myself. It's a piece of me shared to others.
