• Artist Statement

  John Mayer’s “Slow Dancing in a Burning Room” has been one of my favorite songs for the past 5 years. I love this song because it’s soulful and sad. The musicianship is amazing and the guitar solos absolutely rip. I was able to record this song on PreSonus Studio One Six which I began to use over the pandemic. To play it, I used a 1983 American Standard Fender Stratocaster through a MESA Boogie Lonestar Combo, a Yamaha custom drum kit, and an Ernie Ball Stingray bass. The process of making this has been so fun!

  Self-expression through art helps me advance my ability to provide not only personal psychological benefits but also reveal our multicultural community's potential to discover the shared unity between all different groups of people; a unity that does exist but corrupts by social stratum.
