Aside from rapping in my songs, I produce all of my own music as well so the process really varies from time to time. I sometimes write the lyrics first to an instrumental of a song I really like which I then use inspiration from to create an original beat. However, sometimes it's the other way around and I make the beat or composition first then write lyrics to it. When it comes to finalizing a track, I'm kind of a perfectionist so I really make sure it sounds how I want it before taking it to the studio to record it.

It impacts my life because I can put my emotions, thoughts, and experiences into the music which helps others relate to and connect with it. Creating music is a safe space for me because I only need to rely on myself, and can freely express myself.
