This is a piece of writing that I began in seventh grade and finished my senior year of high school. It was the first piece of my writing that other people - family members and friends - were genuinely moved by and compelled to share. For that reason, it was a significant inspiration for me to further pursue creative writing.

Writing has always been a passion of mine, and I have always found it to be the easiest way for me to express myself. I have also loved reading for all my life, and I want to be able to affect others in the same ways that I have been positively affected by beautiful stories.
