Undertale is my favorite video game of all time. On top of that, I have fallen in love with it’s soundtrack of over 100 songs, composed all by Toby Fox. One day, I decided I wanted to play the songs from the game on the piano. I have played a few prior, but the song “Undertale” really stands out to me.
It is a song, which in game, tells a story about a race that once thrived, but then fell underground, never to be heard from again, and that despite their losses, grief, and tears, they live on, despite their fears, in hopes that one day they may rise again. I wanted to incorporate this feeling of the song into my performance of Undertale. It’s a beautiful song with a beautiful story that touched my heart for over 7 years, and I wanted to share what it meant to me through my skills on the piano, so others not familiar with Undertale can feel the same, and I am very proud of my end result.

It has changed my life in so many ways. Finding where I can express myself best, in this case, music. and what emotions I can convey best has helped me understand myself as a person so much more, and has helped me be able to empathize with others around me. It has turned me into who I am today.
