This piece was my sixth piece for my AP Drawing Portfolio.

In creating my “Kaleidoscope” vase, I tried to show the complexity of the mind and how it is constantly moving around with different bright ideas.

Expressing my creativity provides me with an outlet for my thoughts, feelings, and energy.

By implementing complementary colors, I wanted to emphasize the beauty we encounter daily.

I paint with colors that reflex how I feel in the moment.

Before covid, I sat in my seat just randomly thinking about what I could do to make my art appealing to my eyes because I would be the one staring at it.

My artistic process typically consists of getting into a free and calm mindset through listening to music and simply examining some of my paint brushes.
