The art I'm submitting is a portrait I did of my mom.

This surrealist scene depicts a bustling crowd roaming through a town based off multiple locations throughout France.

This art piece refers to something related to the past and the present, and also something to do with the beginning of time.

Inspired by the pages of my childhood, this artwork hopes to express the selfless love of my mother that I have come to recognize more and more with each passing day.

Cows are, at their core, docile creatures.

For this artwork, I travelled around the bay area to capture a double-exposure.

My artwork is about a girl's perspective and how she can only see the negative things that is in front of her and not the good memories that is captured through her eye.

For this piece I wanted to try working outside of my comfort zone, which is traditional media, more specifically using acrylic paints.

My drawing is of a mother making a sculpture of her daughter.

Using surrealism I allowed myself to explore my darkest inner thoughts and I used a photoshop canvas as a gateway to express aspects of my life that are troubling and in a sense I think many people can make a connection since each of us have those dark thoughts that we keep inside and need a sort of outlet for them.

Eye

During this project, I focused on drawing and using oil pastels to draw features on my self-portrait.

Sometimes I just be doing nothing and staring into the sky or blank space.

My work "The Oceans are in Our Hands" is based on a photograph (left) I took in southern California.

My painting reflects the shimmering qualities of light on a random morning at my grandma's house.

This is a painting of an escape to a floating island where you spend eternity with your true soulmate.

I had wanted to replicate the feeling of being at peace with nature, letting the wind blow over your body, watching the hot air balloons rise and sink, and just enjoying the moment.

How can we be productive?

Abstract art has always been something I was afraid to touch.

This piece is made to communicate with my parents.
