2023 Submissions
Hope Arising
I wanted to make this piece in order to reflect on past events that have happened in 2022.
Acceptance
This is my first time doing landscape, and though it's not the best I’m really proud of myself.
Eyes of a Mushroom
Since I was a little kid I would imagine different things and draw them.
A Look Back
This piece, titled "A Look Back", explores the daunting feeling of growing up.
Crystallized
Through dimension and unique glazing, I was able to explore divine feminine beauty, promoting normalcy of “imperfection”.
Ain't No Mountain High Enough
I made this drawing of mountainous scenery during art class at school.
Thoughts While Dead
My artwork revolves around human fallibility and overall human nature. An important part of human nature is death.
Save Me From This World
My artwork is based off of struggles I've dealt with as a young teenager, I struggled (and still struggle) with body dysmorphia and insecurities, so I drew what it felt like to be 15 and in a generation (generation z) where looks seem more important than personality and where "pretty privilege" is more recognizable than humanity.
A Reminder to Bloom
I really like the quote "Wherever life plants you, bloom with grace”, because I think it is important to persevere until we can thrive under any adversity.
An Unattended Growth
This drawing is meant to embody my landlord’s ignorance towards the living conditions of his apartments.
