Over the summer of 2022, I became very intrigued by the shapes and colors of the human body.

Around Thanksgiving, after a month of TikTok promoting Blue Lock on my For You Page (thanks to the World Cup), I finally caved in to read the manga.

Inspired by portrait artist Tahlia Stanton, I decided to paint a series of surreal self-portraits.
