I created this piece with the app Procreate on my iPad.

I started by drawing my design on paper and tracing that onto the scratchboard.

I wanted to depict the stress behind life, especially as a high school student.

I made a painting of nature because it makes me feel happy.

It is abstract art but the message it conveyed to me was time was changing.

While creating this painting I wanted to put a lot of different colors in certain sections of the painting.

This artwork, entitled Snowkissed, is a vector portrait of my dog Romeo.

This piece was primarily dedicated to the harsh reality of war and battle, viewing a feudal Japanese samurai damaged harshly, his sword crumbling and his armor dirtied.

My process involved throwing a small cup piece, a form that is taller than what I am used to throwing on the wheel (I tend to enjoy plates, bowls, and other wider figures).

I was inspired to sketch this piece after spending time with friends at SOMA in San Francisco.

Using encaustics I wanted to show the contrast between pastel colors and eerie themes.

As I looked back at my past photos, I came across a portrait of my friend holding flowers up to her nose.

While the components of this piece (including a paper boat on a waterfall, which is flowing out of the pupil of an eye) may seem to hint at a deeper meaning, it is actually devoid of any.

I have always had a special place in my heart for nature.

In this artwork, I had a blast painting myself from my mirror.

I experimented with realism here for the first time.

Sometimes things work out ok.

It's very nice.

The first thing that struck me about New York was the contrast between its grit and glow.

My still life painting, titled "From: Death" is a school project that is meant to represent how even in the most extreme surroundings, things still manage to grow and bloom where there is hope.
