I use my poetry to try to make sense of my experiences within the world as a whole and my immediate surroundings. I write my poems out my hand in a notebook, often when I'm in an emotional state, and then go back to try to make sense of things from a calmer perspective.

Creativity is a way to stop time. I can reach back to speak to past versions of myself or reach forward to tap into my higher self. It's a gift that allows humans to connect to other humans at the deepest level. In some ways creativity is magic.
