• Artist Statement

  I wanted to make lantern piece based on nature. I chose flowers because I wanted something to pop out of the piece. Unfortunaltely, when I was almost complete with carving my piece, it shattered and I had to restart and complete it within the same time left for all the other artists.

• Creative Statement

  To me imagination is the ability to form and build off original ideas and create things purely from how you feel or want.
