Homestead 1 explores the turbulence and disruptions I experienced throughout childhood regarding family and mental health issues through imagery of a decayed home.

Creativity means pushing oneself to solve some challenge by combining inspiration from past works with one's unique perspective. Within my art, this means finding ways to express and instill a feeling within the viewer from my own experience which cannot be communicated in words.
