In and Out: A Garbage Story

In this film, I have examined the destinations of our waste—specifically, what happens to the contents of our green, blue, and grey garbage bins. By enhancing our awareness of the journey our garbage takes, we, as individuals, can improve recycling practices and reduce the negative impacts on our environment. I strove to craft a documentary-style video that is both enlightening and instructive, advocating for a shift in behavior towards waste management. This film came to fruition within a two-week timeframe while I participated in the Climate Warriors summer youth program by BAVC Media (Bay Area Media Coalition). In addition to collaborating on my group project—an experimental film—I dedicated myself to creating this documentary.
