Oftentimes, I find myself overwhelmed by life. Like a singular fish ripped from it's school, dragged away by the ocean's currents, my world can seem dizzying and out of my control. Yet, I painted this to remind myself that my inner peace is important. That making it through each day, taking everything one step at a time, will be enough. And that no matter what happens, I will find a way to persevere through whatever the world throws at me. This was also an experimental piece, as acrylics are a new medium for me. Through this artwork, and hopefully many others, I aim to fostering my artistic skills and continue my exploration of painting!

Creativity is not only a way to express my emotions, but the way I express my interpretation of the world. Putting it down on paper, or canvas, has always been an outlet I can turn to when simple words fall short.
