• Artist Statement

  Cultural identity is a complicated term for me. I often feel disconnected from my culture, and was confused about my identity. This painting is an ode to that confusion I had growing up, and to my grandmother, who grew up in India.

• Creative Statement

  Creativity means discovering yourself through means that interest you. Science is creative, as well as art.
