• Artist Statement

  I believe what I enjoyed most when drawing this piece is the notion that when people look it at first glance they may not understand it. I also enjoyed using oil pastels, because it is a more interesting way of blending colors. My favorite thing about using this medium is that there is a less polished feel about it, which adds to the aesthetic.
