• Artist Statement

  Chess is a boardgame that consists of pieces each unique in itself with the power of turning the tables of the game at any right time. Players constantly find themselves stressed as their opponents slowly turns the game out of their favor. Chess is not only a game but a intense phycological warfare. This inspired me to photograph an image that depicted the game in its true colors using dramatic red lighting and angle.

  Creativity to me means the ability to think out of the box, to innovate, to take on a unique perspective different from what other people commonly perceive.
