• Artist Statement

  My Art piece was made with acrylic paint. I painted a purple butterfly because purple is my favorite color, and butterflies are my favorite animal/insect. I painted the repeating background red because the colors red and purple have special meaning to me. I painted the background yellow because it is the contrast color of purple.

  To me, creativity means expressing yourself and your thoughts through Art.
