• Artist Statement

  This artwork was made entirely of pen and black markers. I used many shading techniques to display the variety of colors on a seemingly black and white canvas. The base of the artwork is my hand which I traced out using a ballpoint pen. The main theme that I chose this artwork to be is video games. I included classic games such as Pac-Man and Tetris, mobile games like Geometry Dash and Angry Birds, and even some obscure ones like Google’s no WiFi Dinosaur Game.

• Creative Statement

  Creativity to me means sharing your passions and ideas to others in a way that represents who you are as a person. It’s that spark of inspiration that only you can replicate, and when it occurs, you want to snap that photo, or paint that picture, or perform that dance.
