A Peep of Peeps

This piece was about man-made representation of birds, in this case, Peeps being the counterpart to chicks. When buying items from the store, we tend to not be well informed about the outcome of consuming that product. Buying certain products could cause unwanted environmental and health related effects. Packaging is already a large environmental issue with consumer items, but Peeps brings another concern, which is in the marshmellow itself. As I was researching I stumbled upon the many articles that stated that some Peeps could potentially cause cancer. Digging deeper, I learned that Peeps uses ”Red Dye No.3” which could lead to health issues which included cancer. The dubious chick in the left corner tells us how we should be a bit more careful in what we consume.

Creativity, to me, means the ability to take an original idea from your mind and express it in different forms. These ideas could be influenced by music, art, or a different media, as long as it is not plagiarizing an existing piece. I prefer to express my creativity through 2d-art.
