As a teenager in this generation, I spend most of my time in front of a screen. Whether it’s doing homework or watching a movie, I usually find myself stuck in front of my computer. However, when my parents surprised me with a trip to Alaska, it felt like I was breathing in truly fresh air for the first time in a long while. This trip completely changed the worldview I had while being confined to my screen. The countless experiences outside the screen drew me out, and the beauty of nature and the unique landscapes left a deep impression on me, giving me the inspiration to create this artwork.
