”Amalgamation” (A4M2LgTion) is a work born from my interest in the intersections between art and science. In this piece, I utilized oil and acrylic paints, metallic markers, dried paint textures, and detailed drawings to explore the hidden beauty of life on a microscopic level. I combined traditional and experimental techniques to illustrate a symphony of cellular patterns and organic structures. Inspired by the beauty in microscopic ecosystems and organized chaos in neural networks, this piece is meant to feel alive, like peering into the inner workings of a living organism. The shimmering metallics evoke the energy of neural activity, while the textured surfaces represent the fragility and strength of biological systems. The artwork speaks to how the worlds inside of us, though unseen, are as vibrant and dynamic as the universe surrounding us.
