Blackhole is my second poem (that I’ve done willingly). It is about the cycle of a star as it goes through the various stages in its life. I rely mostly on imagery & connections throughout my life; I didn’t even realize some of the subconscious correlations I had made & I notice that it has a few views of life from my perspective & a few from what I imagine others would think of life, though not always. This poem focuses on the darker parts of what may happen in the uncertainty of life. My second poem I shared is Mousetrap, which is a triolet that alludes to multiple meanings as the poem develops. It features how animals lunge for shelter as Winter comes to take away food & sometimes life, while later in the poem, ”Winter comes to take its toll” talks about a mousetrap at the end of spring.

Creativity is when someone creates or reimagines something in their own original design and with any type of media, no matter how revolutionary or classical it may be.
