This piece takes a delve into the complexity of the human mind, body and soul by illustrating the fragmentation through the representations we see in our everyday life. It explores the idea of how religion can shape our everyday life such as human experiences and personal beliefs. Throughout the piece, I highlighted the tension between individuality and the idea of fitting in. It also reflects the tension between worldly influences and individuality, which reflects on how these ideas can truly reflect on one’s spiritual journey. In the end the artwork invites viewers to place themselves into the piece and consider their many layers of identity and the various ideologies they believe in.
