This is a redraw of a piece I did earlier in life, with original characters that have been present in much of my artwork. I also created a new character for this piece, Bunny, that helps to balance out the others. I created this artwork for myself, as a way to reclaim my past as an artist, and to create something similar yet new. I took some liberties, however, such as using pen and pencil instead of water color, and choosing a more realistic style. I also chose to avoid using black and white colored pencil to shade, because I wanted my colors to be vibrant. This piece is my best work, and I can say that with confidence.

Creativity is what it means to be human. Creativity is the pinnacle of humanity. Creativity helps me and others explore who they are, no matter the medium. To have the capacity for creativity is to be human.
