My piece is inspired by the saying “butterflies in my stomach”. I wanted to make a piece that had a use of multi-media. Butterflies in my Stomach is made from a feeling that we all have felt whether it is a first date, a speech, going to your first job, and more. I wanted to create a sense of delicacy and realism to make it give some uneasiness, but also a whimsical and surreal affect.

Creativity to me, is a way to express yourself. I go towards more magical, surrealism, and whimsical, but there are other ways to make art! Some people like sharp lines, others use bold colors, but everyone has their own way of expressing their soul, feelings, thoughts, and so much more!
