Everyone daydreams when they’re bored. I often find myself indulging in imaginary worlds and escaping from reality when given the chance. Inspired by this universal experience, I wanted to explore this feeling and capture the essence of daydreaming. This piece depicts a subject sitting in an empty classroom staring out into a pixelated sky–imagining a fake video game world. Conversely, the surreal imagination is concentrated by the realistic style of the calm classroom with no one around. This piece reflects the relationship between fiction and reality which blend together as we daydream.
