• Artist Statement

  My art teacher inspired me to paint a tree, because I saw a beautiful one he had painted. I picked this tree because it is the tree that gave Palo Alto its name, and every year me and my family and friends do a special Christmas running race in Palo Alto. I also thought this tree had a beautiful unique shape.

• Creative Statement

  Creativity means creating a world of your own that is unique. It means sharing your ideas to make yourself and others smile. I think my art is creative even when it’s realistic because I am expressing my own vision of that image and sharing it to make others smile.
