This artwork was inspired by an essay that I recently wrote in which the topic was about how even though people strive to show kindness and respect towards the ones they love, but because it is in the human nature to be cruel, people often act inhumane and emotionally harm the ones they love. I wanted to convey this topic through this artwork because I feel this is a real problem in our society. I hope through this artwork people can acknowledge this issue.

Creativity is a way for me to relax as well as express myself since I have a hard time verbally communicating my thoughts. Creativity also means a lot to me personally because often I feel that it is the only thing I feel some what good at.
