• Artist Statement

  I wrote a poem about the injustice of Asian hate specifically against COVID 19, because I wanted to bring awareness towards Asian hate and how harmful stereotypes can be. Ultimately, the poem calls for unity, understanding, and love to overcome this thought that is ”our” fault. I also wrote another poem about the beauty of freedom, and painting.

  To me, creativity is the ability to think about a task or a problem in a new or different way, or the ability to use the imagination to create new ideas.
