• Artist Statement

  This artwork is based on the idea of Ravens being the messengers of death. I chose to use pen for this piece to keep it monochromatic and contribute to the darker mood. The central focus of the piece, the raven, is the most rendered and the background is simply to draw focus to the raven.

• Creative Statement

  To me, creativity means being able to create new ideas and find a way to express them to share with others.
