• Artist Statement

  I made this because it relates to my childhood version of an American breakfast because my parents didn’t have enough time to make a meal but they wanted me and my siblings to eat something hot, so they started buying those to heat up in the morning. I used bright colors and bubble words to make seem childish and represent my childhood experience. I trouble with painting it but I learned that it was easier to layer on the darker colors first then the light ones which helped me create more depth in the painting.

  To me, it means making things in your own style, like art or writing, and using it to create innovative art or solutions to difficult problems.
