I have always loved old fashioned cars and decided to complete this piece that combines this love with art. I started by sketching out the rough shape of the car, then used pen to showcase a variety of techniques like stippling and cross hatch to create a more 3-D look. The parts of the car I wanted to stick out the most and be the brightest I would use the least amount of pen there and and use lots of pen around it to create lots of contrast. My normal medium is acrylic paint so using pen to produce this piece was a good challenge for me.
