• Artist Statement

  For as long as I have lived I have adored Greek myth and none captivated my more than that of Psyche and Eros. A love story from an angle yet as I had grown older I saw the nature of the story. I couldn’t help,but to relate the myth to isolation and oppression of women by those they love. I grew further inspiration from my Aunt’s story of traveling alone long ago and her sacrifices for love.
