I made this for my halloween costume, Amanda Young in Saw (2004). I had planned to make this since last halloween and actually followed through which surprised me. It took about a month of working on it in my free time. I really enjoyed the process since I’ve never worked with foam before and had to figure out a lot, like using cinnamon and mod podge on top of wet paint to give that rusty effect.

last year, it meant creating art and putting it out into the world, giving it away, or leaving it somewhere. But this year it’s more about the process for me and exploring topics that I feel strongly about. I want to try new things.
