Strawberry is a poem written about the hardships of making a new friend that doesn’t necessarily understand you the way you may want. The speaker details her experience with feeling insecure about her many issues that drive people away. The tone starts off as questioning and hopeful for the possibility of a new start with a new friend. However, this soon turns into pleading as she realizes her new friend does not care for her the way she hoped, leaving her behind. In the end the speaker is hurt, watching as she is left alone in the dirt, but ultimately accepting in the end when she recognizes that some people just aren’t compatible.

Creativity means expression to me. It is the form in which humans are able to express their thoughts and emotions on the deepest level possible. Creativity is using your own original ideas and forming them into what you believe depicts your own view on a topic or the world.
